Toward the end of 2020, I launched my first sustainable clothing line: Sendiri Label.

Sendiri Label was sparked over some late-night glasses of wine with girlfriends, and a few tears, reliving moments when our voices were silenced, misunderstood, or rejected. Whether it was an ex-boyfriend, a former employer, a pastor, a friend . . . we all know what it’s like to feel like we’re too much or not enough.

But I wanted to turn those scars into something redemptive — I wanted to transform pain into creativity, beauty, freedom, and celebration of women.

Sendiri Label was born from this: a sustainable clothing line of everyday basics, with a twist. Each design has a story intended to empower the women who wear it, inspiring you to embrace your beauty, power, and strength.

Meaning "solo" or "independent" in Indonesian, Sendiri is for anyone who’s ever been told her dreams are too big, her voice is too loud, or her heart is too wild.

Wear that proudly, because your truest you — the one who is unapologetic in her intellect, passion, voice for good, and pursuit of the dreams stirring within you — is so damn beautiful. You were created to shine, sister.

My goal with The Wayfaress has always been to empower you to live out your fullest, truest, bravest life. To travel the world, start that business, make the big move, and chase your dreams — whether solo or with loved ones. What matters is doing what is true to you, and not letting any other voices hold you back.

Sendiri is a wearable, tangible extension of that mission — empowering you as my customer, empowering at-risk women and girls in Bali, and self-empowering by creating a stream of income for myself.

All Sendiri Label garments are all sustainable and ethically made in beautiful Bali.

I’m committed to finding the most environmentally responsible options available at every step of the way, while also ensuring that laborers are treated with dignity, paid fairly, and empowered in the workplace.

A portion of sales are donated to local projects that support at-risk women and girls, providing them with education, job training, and healthcare in order to break cycles of trafficking, begging, and impoverishment on the island.

I am also so excited to introduce a new collection (coming soon!) that uses only 100% organic cotton fabric and natural plant dyes. This collection is a labor of love, and I’ve poured so much creativity into it. Keep your eye peeled, because I absolutely can’t wait to share it with you!
